April's been quite the month - my ToDo's have spilled off ToDoodles page.
First, in my house we're dealing with serious "senioritis"- keeping Jake focused on his final grades and not only on his friends, phone, computer and the Yankees. In this mother's opinion the last half of senior year should be a work-study program - a little bit of life's reality combined with some accountability!
I've also been rushing from work to watch our winning Cougar baseball games, planning for Jake's 18th birthday in May, his high school graduation, his prom (he want's his cumberbund to match his date's dress!?!?!), his "senior beach week" at the Jersey shore, and now the plane, car, hotel reservations for college orientation at "Mizzou" in July - and all the "other" stuff in between.
May and June downloads are now up at our website. I'm trying to finish up our family plans this week and then distribute copies of June's downloads to family members (mailing them to our out-of-towners) so we're all coordinated for the graduation festivities. BBB's Weekly GRIDs work great for coordinating special events in June!

And planning everything for college in August.
I'm already stock piling toiletries and making lists of what Jake will need. Geez! We'll need a small truck to get to Columbia, Missouri, a 17 hour car ride. Bed,Bath & Beyond has their own "college checkist" that I think will have everything delivered to your destination BB&B - but so far I haven't located a store close enough! Leave it to my son to pick a college in the boonies.
I promise you that CoMo has everything your son will need. It's not the biggest town in the world, but it's far from being in the boonies.
Being not that far removed from college I highly reccomend that it's easier to bring less and acquire things as they're needed.
Do take a supply of things like advil, cold medicine, nyquil, immodium, a thermometer and things that if you need them you don't want
to have to go get them when you need them.
Good luck and Go Tigers!!

Jake must really think about his date's dress. I guess that's the vital thing to think when attending a prom- what you will wear and how you will look.
