So, MOVING is what moving is! While making all the preparations with our new distributor in MA. (Publishers Storage & Shipping) has been easy there was (is!) still a boat load of details to get ironed out. Working with my Customer Sales Rep Erika and their IT, Doug, has been a pleasure. The laundry list of "Things To Do" were endless BUT so organized, thank goodness.
We're just days away from the launch of our revamped website with the upcoming BusyBodyBook product line - again, just a few details to complete. Our NY designers, LandersMiller and our webmaster in Colorado have been fabulous.
I'm spending the day "proofing" the printer's blue lines for the last time - which I must admit, is a real snooze. We've looked these over so many times it makes my eyes tear.
Oh, ... let me not forget to mention! Franklin Covey will be carrying our 2011 line of products in their online store! Now that's something to brag about! Amazon has already listed the new BusyBodyBooks too!
BTW - while our current site is up we're running a HUGE SALE on all the current 2010 BBBs (those that are left.) With just days to go before we launch the new site you can pick up some great savings.
All this and my family is in the midst of finalizing all the college stuff. We're waiting for final word from Syracuse and their Newhouse School but so far Jake's been admitted to the Schools of Journalism at Maryland, Missouri (Mizzou), Indiana, LSU, and Illinois. I'm a proud mama! That being said, Jake (and I'm certain will continue to) spends most of the time either sleeping or attending baseball practice. So far he's keeping up the grades but I truly believe the curriculum for the last half of senior year is a bit of a joke - perhaps the schools should design a work/volunteer/study program - a dose of reality could be a great cure for "senioritis"!
When all is done, I'm taking a nap. A vacation??? What a concept! I'll be looking out for the Greatest List of College Supplies to start buying and looking for sales.
