It's not the ideal time to sell a home but it's TIME nonetheless. Our beautiful home is now officially on the market. The final straw was all the snow this year - or should I say ice! We couldn't shovel fast enough, the slush froze and an ice pick didn't cut it.
I'm done with leaf blowing, snow blowing, scrubbing 3.5 bathrooms, ... it's definitely time to downsize. It took a couple of years to let go emotionally but we're finally ready.
So after massive lists of todos and quite the mess... we're painted, floors finished, one bathroom beautifully renovated, cleaned, staged, listed with Burgdorff ERA, the sign is up, the balloons are blown, and the real estate agents are already lining up with their clients.
TIP: What does one do when an agent calls and wants to show your home in 12 minutes? Throw the wet towels, laundry under the bed, in the washing machine or dryer, the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and whatever else, in the oven - just remember not to turn anything on before removing!
